Dedicated to helping people enter into a relationship with God through repentance and faith in The Lord Jesus Christ

Finding Your Way To Joy!

Are you feeling overwhelmed, sad or depressed because of your situation or circumstances? If so I ask you to consider for a moment our Lord Jesus and what He suffered and endured. How He was beaten and mocked and finally crucified

And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. (Isa 51:11 ASV)

looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb 12:2 ASV)

For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls. (Heb 12:3 ASV)

If anyone had a reason to be feeling overwhelmed, sad or depressed it would have been The Lord. But look at what the scripture say’s, it says that The Lord endured the Cross for the Joy that was set before Him, you notice it does not say that He endured the Cross because He was God in the flesh or by His great power.

.

No, The Lord endured the Cross as a man, looking past what He was going through to the end result, in other word’s He looked beyond His circumstances to what He would accomplish and that enabled Him to endure the Cross.

So if you’re feeling sad, depressed or overwhelmed consider what Jesus endured on your behalf on the Cross. Look beyond your situation to what The Lord has promised you. Look toward Him and consider that because of what He suffered for you your names are now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Because of Jesus’s sacrifice, because of His suffering you are now destined for Heaven, for eternal life and you are just passing through this life. We will dwell in The Presence of The Lord forever in which is the fullness of joy?

Thou wilt show me the path of life: In thy presence is fullness of joy; In thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Psa 16:11 ASV)

So even though it may seem like there is no hope or end in sight remember you are just passing through, your destination is Heaven and the Lord is with you.

Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee. (Heb 13:5 ASV)

So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me? (Heb 13:6 ASV).
